    How do I register to shop on

    If you have not registered on before, you will need to click on "Sign In or Register" found near the top right corner of the Home page.

    Enter your email address, password and, if you are a member, the membership number found on your membership card. If you have a Costco - American Express co-branded card, your membership number is located on the back of your card to the right of your picture and will say "Costco Membership Number."

    Note: Maintaining an active Costco membership does not automatically register you on You will need to complete a New Registration if you have not previously registered on

    Your membership number is not linked to your account until you add it at the time of registration or by updating your information in the My Account section.

    To complete the checkout process:

    • Click on "Cart".
    • Click on "Proceed to Checkout"
    • Enter your shipping information and click on "Ship to this address". You will have the opportunity to ship to multiple addresses if more than one item has been ordered.
    • Click "Continue to Payment"
    • Enter your payment information and click on "Continue to Review Order".
    • After reviewing your order, click "Place Your Order" to complete your purchase.

    After completing your purchase, you will immediately receive an order-received email. Once your item(s) have shipped, you will also receive another email verifying the actual ship date. It will include instructions on how you can track the shipment of your order online, if tracking is available.

    How do I update my email address?

    • Click on "My Account" located at the top of the Home page.
    • Sign in under "Registered Shoppers" by supplying your existing email address and password.
    • Choose "Personal Information" under the "My Account" heading.
    • In the email address field, enter your new information, and click on "Update". You will then receive a message that states:
      "You have made changes to your email address. By saving this information as default, you will be changing your login. Your password will remain the same. Would you like to continue?"
    • Click OK if you wish to continue and your account will be immediately updated.
    • The next time you log in to, use the new email address you provided.

    Why does it say my email address is already in use?

    Your email address may already be in our system. If this is the case, to access our website, please enter your email address in the Registered Shoppers field of the Login page, followed by the password you would have supplied when registering.

    If you are still unable to access our site, or cannot remember your password, simply enter your email address in the box under "Forgot your Password?" then click on "Reset Password". Your password will be reset, and a temporary one will be emailed to you.

    How do I reset my password?

    If you have forgotten your password, please click on this link Costco log in. Enter in your email address in the box under "Forgot your Password?" then click on "Reset Password." Your password will be reset, and a temporary one will be emailed to you. You will receive your password within minutes.

    The temporary password that you receive will be all lower case and will not include any numbers. We suggest that the password be copied and pasted into the password field. If you have tried the temporary password and it has failed in three attempts, please request another password. The temporary password will not work after three failed attempts. There is an 8-hour delay in sending a second temporary password.

    Please be aware that if you have your junk mail settings on high, the password email from might be deleted by your ISP as junk mail before you see it. To ensure that you get our emails, please add to your address book or your safe sender list.

    How do I subscribe to special offers by commercial electronic messages?

    1. Go to "Email sign-up" near the top of the Home page.
    2. Type in your email address.
    3. Click "Sign up."
    4. Access “My Account” if you are a registered user of and click on “Communication Preferences”.
    5. Select “I want to receive the latest news, promotions, special offers and other information from Costco, regarding Costco, its affiliates and selected partners.”

    How do I unsubscribe to Costco commercial electronic messages?

    If you do not want to receive commercial electronic messages, please choose one of the following options to unsubscribe or opt out:

    1. Click the provided "unsubscribe" link in any commercial electronic messages to unsubscribe.
    2. Access "My Account" if you are a registered user of, and click on "Communication Preferences". Select "I do not want to receive commercial electronic messages from Costco" and click "Update". If you have more than one email address, you will need to specifically opt-out for each email address.
