Parmigiano-Reggiano is an Italian hard cheese made from cow’s milk. It has a flakey, granular texture and has been made using the same basic method for over 1000 years. Pair with fresh or dry fruit, nuts, olives and Italian bread. It is also excellent grated over anything from pasta to roasted artichokes. Parmigiano-Reggiano is known as the “King of Cheeses” because of its quality.
