Delivery Fees

• Orders less than $75 pre tax are subject to a $3 per unit surcharge fee.
• Orders above $75 pre tax are NOT subject to any per unit surcharge fees.
• All ORDERS to remote areas are subject to an additional shipping and handling fee per unit.
• All fees will be quoted at checkout

Note: All surcharge fees and shipping and handling fees will be quoted at checkout using the delivery postal code.

Delivery

• Orders may only be delivered to one address

Delivery Timeframe

• Each item will provide you with an estimated delivery date, please ensure your postal code is updated to ensure the most accurate date is being shown.
• Depending on your order size, orders may be shipping using an alternate shipping method, which may add a delay in delivery. In such events, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery date and time.
• All time-frames are approximate, once shipped you will receive a ship confirmation email with tracking in which you will be able to monitor the package status

Checkout

• Check out with both Costco.ca and Costco Grocery items at the same time
• Costco.ca and Costco Grocery shopping carts are listed separately in checkout so you can easily see which items have been added to each cart

Delivery Availability

Available within qualified delivery areas in Canada. Costco Grocery is not available in the Yukon, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut.

Eligibility

• Only members can shop Costco Same-day delivery and benefit from member pricing.
• Non-members can shop directly from Instacart.ca but pay a higher price than members shopping on Costco Same-day delivery

Eligible Items

• All groceries including fresh food and household supplies
• All eligible items will be listed based on your postal code
  
  If an item is out of stock, the Instacart shopper will contact you before they check out to see if you want a replacement or not. If you choose not to get a replacement you will be refunded for the out of stock item.

Delivery Fees

• Items may be available in-warehouse at a lower non-delivered price
• A services and delivery fee applies. Instacart Express members get free delivery.
• Minimum order of $35 before taxes

Delivery

• Orders are delivered by Instacart shoppers
• A signature is required at time of delivery
• Contactless delivery is available for your order(s)

Delivery Timeframe

• Orders arrive the same day, next day, or day of your choice
• Orders are delivered in a 1-hour delivery window in as little as 2 hours
• Events out of our control (e.g., weather, natural disasters, strikes, walkouts, technical difficulties) may impact the delivery window

Refunds, Returns and Cancellations

Purchases made through Costco’s Same-day Delivery service are subject to Instacart’s Refund, Returns, and Cancellation policy.

Item prices are marked up higher than your local warehouse. Instacart uses the markup to pay for their delivery service. The order minimum is $35.

Instacart uses the markup amount to provide competitive pay to all shoppers working with Instacart. Unlike a tip, which can only go to the shopper delivering your order, a markup allows us to pay all shoppers (including for example, those that pick ordered items in the warehouse).
