Advantage II is a once-per-month liquid treatment for cats 8 weeks and older. Flea bites can cause flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) and other skin infections. A single flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day, leading to infestations—even in your home.Features and benefits:
  • Imidacloprid 9.1%
  • Pyriproxyfen 0.46%
  • Kills fleas within one day after treatment 
  • May help reduce the incidence of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD)
  • Protection against further flea infestation can last up to 4 weeks on cats

  • Provides multi-stage flea control by breaking all flea life-cycle stages
Cat Sizes:

Best use:
  • Do not shampoo or immerse the animal in water immediately after treatment. The animal can be shampooed, immersed in water, or exposed to rain 3 days after treatment.
  • The adulticidal effect on fleas may be shortened by repeated shampooing, water immersion, or exposure to rain. Reapplication on cats may be required after such activities.
  • Combine with sanitation of any area used by the cat: vacuum floors, carpets, and furniture (discard vacuum bag after use). Wash the cat’s bedding, living quarters, and surrounding areas. 
Warnings:
  • DO NOT USE ON CATS UNDER 8 WEEKS OF AGE
  • DO NOT ADMINISTERED BY MOUTH
  • Do not apply another pest control product such as a shampoo, collar, or powder that contains imidacloprid or pyriproxyfen to the treated animal after applying Advantage II.
  • Consult a veterinarian before use on cats that are elderly, pregnant, breastfeeding, or who are undergoing pesticide or medical treatment.
  • If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.
This product is not available for delivery to the province of Quebec due to provincial restrictions.
