BioGaia ProTectis Drops is a liquid format probiotic intended for children and infants. The recommended daily dose provides 100 million live active Lactobacillus reuteri for helping digestive health, preventing acute diarrhea, and more. Features and benefits:
  • 100 million Lactobacillus reuteri per dose 
  • Helps digestive health and relieve chronic constipation in adults and children ages 1 to 17 
  • Helps prevent episodes of acute diarrhea in adults, children (ages 1 to 17), and infants (ages 4 to 12 months)
  • Helps reduce duration of acute infectious diarrhea and have positive effect on bowel frequency for constipation in infants (ages 4 to 12 months) 
  • Helps reduce duration of and prevent crying episodes in infants suffering from colic 
  • Diminishes the frequency of regurgitation 
  • No soy, lactose, gluten, or egg derivatives

Dosage:
  • Infants, children, and adults: take 5 drops (on a spoon) once daily. Shake well for 10 seconds before use.
  • For diarrhea, take with plenty of fluids
  • If antibiotics are being taken, take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose
  • Not to be used as a substitute for a varied diet nor for use in premature infants
Warnings:
  • Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days
  • Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain
Storage:
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store in a dry place at room temperature 
  • Keep the tube closed
