Quartz is not only beautiful and durable; it is one of the hardest minerals on earth. Unlike other materials, it never needs to be polished or sealed. Resistant to stains and scratches, it stands up well to cold and hot temperatures. Quartz countertops have small variations and irregularities, giving each slab its own unique appearance. A quartz surface is non-porous, making it clean and hygienic.
Granite is an extremely hard, natural stone formed over millions of years from compressed molten rock under the earth’s surface. Quarried and cut into large slabs, each slab is unique and irregular, giving it special appeal and charm. Granite is durable and heat resistant. Granite surfaces require periodic maintenance but provide natural beauty and warmth.
Acrylic surfaces (or solid surfaces) are constructed of durable, man-made acrylic with a vast selection of colours. It’s easy to clean, stain resistant, and repairable. Because it’s non-porous, bacteria and moisture will not penetrate the surface. It’s practically seamless, delivering unlimited design opportunities!
