NICORETTE® QuickMist is an instant release mouth spray that gets to work on cravings in 30 seconds for fast craving relief. This mouth spray format is the first of its kind and exclusive to NICORETTE®. It is the fastest form of nicotine replacement therapy when you crave a cigarette or require relief when experiencing nicotine withdrawal symptoms. For fast and effective craving relief, nothing beats cravings faster. NICORETTE® QuickMist provides a lower level of nicotine to your blood than cigarettes and allows you to slowly decrease your body's need for nicotine. It works as a temporary aid to help you quit smoking by reducing nicotine withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, frustration, anxiety, difficulty in concentration and restlessness.
Medicinal Ingredients :
- One spray contains 1 mg of nicotine.
- This medicinal product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 10 mg per spray.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients :
- Acesulfame potassium, ethanol, mint flavour, glycerin, hydrochloric acid, menthol, poloxamer 407, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium bicarbonate, sucralose, trometamol.
- Sweetened with acesulfame potassium & sucralose.
Directions (Dosage) :
- Push the black button down until you can push it lightly inwards.
- While pushing the button in, slide upwards and continue until the top of the dispenser locks into place.
- Before using for the first time, prime the pump by pressing the top firmly into a tissue until a fine mist appears. If you don’t use the spray for a couple of days, you may need to repeat this step.
- Press the top of the dispenser firmly to release one spray into your mouth, avoiding your lips. For best results, wait a few seconds before swallowing. Do not inhale the spray – it shouldn’t spray into your throat.
- To close the dispenser, slide the button down until it can be pushed lightly inwards. Then, while pushing in, slide down to lock.
Cautions and Warnings :
Only to be used by adults who are trying to quit smoking. WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is highly addictive.
Do not use if the blister card has been torn or opened.
DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE: an occasional smoker, have never smoked, under 18 years of age, pregnant or breastfeeding or allergic to any of the ingredients.
ASK YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USE IF YOU HAVE/HAD: A heart attack or stroke; Chest pain (unstable angina), or resting angina; A heart condition that affects your heart rate or rhythm; High blood pressure that is not being controlled by medicines; A history of epilepsy or seizures; Severe or moderate liver disease; Severe kidney disease; Diabetes; An overactive thyroid gland; A tumour of the adrenal gland (phaeochromocytoma); Stomach ulcer.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. This is especially important if you take medicines containing: theophylline to treat asthma; clozapine for schizophrenia; ropinirole to treat Parkinson's disease.
Discontinue using NICORETTE® QUICKMIST and consult your doctor if irregular heartbeat or chest pain occurs or if severe persistent stomach upset (indigestion, heartburn) develops.
Keep out of reach and sight of children and pets.
