Kangaroo is a red meat that has been consumed for centuries by the Aboriginal peoples of Australia. Kangaroo meat is very tender, low in calories and particularly lean (less than 3% fat). Its taste is similar to that of the deer. Rich in protein and iron, it is an alternative to beef.
