Place the bare roots in singles and allow space for them to mature into large clumps. These low- maintenance perennials are hardy, so they can stay in the ground and large containers year-round.

These varieties are shipped as freshly dug bare root perennials. These peony roots need to be planted in the fall so they can quickly set out roots, then go dormant for winter. Therefore, once you receive your collection you will want to plant them right away in the soil or large containers.
