As the pioneer of Photochromic technology, Serengeti leads the industry in creating lenses that adapt to any light condition in any setting. Serengeti® Photochromic lenses are activated by the amount of UV in the atmosphere and engineered to transition from light to dark, gradually.

Polarization technology eliminates 99,9% of disruptive glare from the four types of glare: distracting, discomforting, disabling and blinding. This ensures, therefore, no more reflection from: vehicle headlights, intense lights, shiny surface reflections and the everyday outdoors. When glare reflects off the road, water, snow or flat areas, parallel light rays can pass through unhindered, while distracting perpendicular light is reflected.

Spectra Control® technology is molecularly infused in every Serengeti lens which filters up to 96% of blue light, allowing only the beneficial and regulating turquoise blue light to pass through, to reduce blue blur and visible noise. It enhances a natural colour balance and improves contrasts and perception by acting like a “HD” visual equalizer to achieve the perfect mix of colours across all conditions. It selectively manages light wavelengths, distinguishing reds, greens, and yellows.

Cleaning Care:

• Since salt is highly abrasive, rinse lenses with fresh water if you have been in or near salt water
• To clean lenses, blow loose particles off the lenses, then clean with an optical lens cloth or soft cotton cloth. A mild liquid soap diluted with warm water can also be used on the cloth
• Never use paper products or clothing to clean lenses
• Clean cloths are a great way to keep your sunglasses clean and smudge free. It is recommended that you frequently launder your clean cloth to keep it free of debris, dirt and oils that could damage your lenses. Wash in warm soapy water. Do not use fabric softener as this may leave a film on your lenses

Storage:

• While the lenses are scratch and shatter resistant they are not scratch or shatter proof, store them in their case when not in use.
• Do not leave your sunglasses in extreme hot or cold conditions i.e.) the dashboard of your vehicle
