Webber Naturals SAMe contains s-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe) delivered in delayed-release tablets to help support healthy mood balance and relieve osteoarthritic pain. SAMe is a naturally-occurring compound present each cell of the body, helping with many metabolic functions.  Features and Benefits:

Recommended Dosage (Adults):
  • SAM-e should always be taken on an empty stomach
  • Initial dosage:  For depression/cholestasis: Take 1 to 4 tablets orally, twice a day for 2 weeks
  • For osteoarthritis: Take 1 to 3 tablets orally, twice a day for 2 weeks
  • Do not exceed a total of 8 tablets a day. Effects should be seen within 2 weeks of starting supplementation
  • Maintenance dosage: Reduce daily dose to 1 tablet daily, or as directed by a physician, after 2 weeks
Warnings and precautions:  
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • If taking anti-depressant medication, consult a physician prior to taking SAMe in place of or in addition to those medications
  • Not recommended for children
  • Do not use if pregnant, unless under approval and supervision of a physician
  • Do not use if breastfeeding
  • People with bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness) should not use SAMe unless under medical supervision
