Resveratrol is found naturally in various plants, such as Japanese knotweed, red grapes, mulberries, and tomatoes. It is also found in red wine, peanuts, and dark chocolate. Trans-resveratrol is a type of phytochemical called a stilbene. One of the proven benefits of using resveratrol from Japanese knotweed is that it is a source of antioxidants.
